The Migos AI Song, Explained
The Migos AI song in every one of those orange-booth videos is "Hotel Lobby" by Quavo and Takeoff, two of the three Migos, from their 2022 COLORS performance. This page covers where the song came from, why it is everywhere again, what the audio in an AI Migos video actually is, and how to put yourself in it.

What is the Migos AI song?
"Hotel Lobby" is a 2022 single by Quavo and Takeoff released under the name Unc & Phew, from their album Only Built for Infinity Links. The version everyone knows as the Migos AI song is their live performance on A COLORS SHOW: two rappers, a matte orange booth, one microphone hanging from the ceiling, trading verses and hand gestures in a single take. It was the last project Takeoff appeared on before his death in November 2022, which is part of why the clip carries so much weight, and part of why some fans find the AI versions uncomfortable. Offset is not on the track; people say "Migos" because Quavo and Takeoff were two of the group's three members. The orange room is the COLORS studio, not a hotel.
- Not a Migos group trackOnly Quavo and Takeoff are on it, credited as Unc & Phew. The Migos AI name stuck because the two were Migos members.
- Why "Hotel Lobby"It is the song title, not the location. The scene in every AI video is the orange COLORS studio.
- Streams up 540%After Quavo reposted the original in September 2026 the performance passed 100 million views and US streams of the song jumped 540%.
Is it a real Migos song in the AI videos?
What the Migos AI song audio actually is in a generated video, and what this site does and does not do with it.
The performance audio
Videos made here follow the original performance, including its audio, so the Migos AI song you hear is the COLORS take, not a cover. Check that you have the right to use the sound where you post it; on TikTok the simplest route is to attach the official sound from the library.
No voice cloning
We never clone Quavo's, Takeoff's or Offset's voices, and we do not write new songs in their style or voice. If you are looking for an "AI Migos song" in the sense of a new track that sounds like Migos, that is not what this is, and we would not build it.
Lip movements follow the song
The two people in your photos mouth the verses the way the original performers did, because the model copies the performance timing frame for frame. That is why the result reads as them performing the Migos AI song rather than a face pasted on a clip.
How the Migos AI song became a trend
A timeline of how a 2022 performance turned into a 2026 AI meme.
2022: the COLORS performance
Quavo and Takeoff perform "Hotel Lobby" in the orange booth. COLORS reposts the clip several times over the following years and the sound sits under hundreds of thousands of TikTok videos.
September 2026: the AI edits
A TikTok edit replaces the two with characters from a TV series, then an X post with two cats goes viral. Creators start casting their own duos and asking what the Migos AI song is.
September 23: Quavo reposts the original
Quavo shares the untouched performance with the caption "The original". The trend peaks two days later, and the song charts on streaming again.
Posting an AI Migos video with the song
How to handle the audio on each platform so the video keeps the sound and the reach.
TikTok
Upload the MP4, then tap Add sound and search "Hotel Lobby" to attach the official audio. Posts with a library sound get into the sound's feed.
Instagram Reels
Upload as a Reel and add the song from the Reels audio library so the track is credited and the post can be found through it.
YouTube Shorts
The baked-in audio is fine for Shorts. If a copyright claim appears, it limits monetisation, not the upload.
Label it as AI
All three platforms ask you to mark AI-generated content. It takes one tap and avoids takedowns.
Keep it respectful
Takeoff died months after this performance. Family-and-friends versions travel well; mocking versions do not.
Credit the original
Tagging COLORS or linking the original performance in the caption is good manners and tends to get replies.
